Plot[edit]
Alberto (played by Diogo Morgado) is a young Portuguese monarchist who in 1912 is exiled to Brazil. There, he is contracted by Velasco (Karra Elejalde), a Spanish overseer, to work in the heart of the forest. Selva is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by A. Venkatesh.[1] The film starring Vijay, Swathi, Reeva and Raghuvaran. The music is composed by Sirpy. It was based on the 1966 Tamil film Naan Aanaiyittal. Following the film's success, Director Venkatesh went onto to work with Vijay in other successful films Nilavae Va and Bagavathi shaping Vijay's film career.[2]
