Shiny Days is a spin-off from the 'Days' series and remake of Summer Days. This patch does not fix a bug related to saving your game. This can be fixed by either running Shiny Days as an Administrator or updating the permissions of the Shiny Days install directory to allow for saving of data. General Game Stability: Problems related to driver, graphics card, codec and engine anomalies may still exist on certain systems.

1. I just finished translating the Shiny Days walkthough from the Overflow website. I played through all the paths to check. The places where the walkthrough is still in Japanese are places where the walkthrough broke down and the game did not progress as it should. There are three potential explanations for this. First, the original walkthrough is wrong. Second, the version of the game that JastUSA ported is different than the one to which the walkthrough refers. Third, I made an error somewhere. I did my best to both match the meaning and listen to Makoto's reply when picking choices, but I may have still made an error somewhere.
2. Also, the following ending names are endings I didn't get, so those are my translation of the ending name, not necessarily the one that occurs in the game: I Have No Room for Memories, Carnage Descended, Substitute, and A Gift from Her Father. In addition to the four endings that don't work, there is a scene on the map in Episode 2 that wasn't covered.
3. Finally, when I first started working on the walkthrough and came across something that didn't work, I would try to find a work around. If I was able to change a choice or two and continue to the proper end, I just changed those choices in the walkthrough. Towards the end, I left the original walkthrough but place a section prefaced by '*BUT*' afterwards to indicate the altered route. By the way, I never came across the 頼むんじゃなかった choice, even though it was supposed to appear a few places in the walkthough. Once again, I don't know if that is due to my error or something wrong with the game. I know Crying Western is working on a walkthrough for the Fuwanovel Forums, so hopefully this helps. If anyone else has can find a use for this, feel free to use it. I neither need nor particularly want any acknowledgement, so this is free to use by anyone without restrictions.
